Why is this site called intricate-simplicity.com?
 
Because, like Albert Einstein, I believe that solutions should be as simple as possible but no simpler
(and also because I was lucky enough to be able to register the name).
 
Seriously, I feel that one of the hardest parts of being a programmer is trying to write programs or otherwise communicate tso that other people can understand. The words Intricate Simplicity seem to embody the qualities that I believe are necessary to do these things.
 
Most of the programs are short and hopefully easy to understand. Making programs that are easy to understand and modify is just as important to me as writing clever code. If you look at these programs and say  "That's nothing, I could have written it myself"  then I've done my job.
