General Programs
 
This branch of the tree contains programs I have uploaded and attempted to describe more fully.
Many are not fully documented.
As time goes on I'll modify these descriptions and add more programs to this section.
 
How to build executables from these programs
 
  1. For .c files:
    1. Copy the source code and save it as a file called, for example, thisfile.c
    2. Compile the executable program thisfile
    3. Windows with Visual Studio C++
      cl thisfile.c will produce the executable thisfile.exe
      Windows with gcc gcc -o thisfile.c will produce the executable thisfile.exe
      Macintosh with gcc gcc -o thisfile.c will produce the executable thisfile
       
  2. For .cpp files:
  3. Copy the source code and save it as a file called, for example, thisfile.cpp
  4. Compile the executable program thisfile - instructions coming as soon as I can test tthem
  5. Windows with Visual Studio C++  
    Windows with gcc  
    Macintosh with gcc
